The Best Electric Cars for Sale
This is our master e-car list: if you want to buy an electric car today, make it one of these beauties.
Tesla Model 3
The Tesla Model 3 is the best-selling EV in the US, and with good reason. The car has an awesome 240 miles of range. If you run out of juice, you can charge your car at one of Tesla’s Supercharger stations and be back on the road in 30 minutes.
The Model 3 has blistering performance too. You can hit 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds in the entry-level car. Performance models can hit it in just 3.2 seconds.
There’s ample cargo space and fantastic tech too, including Tesla’s revolutionary autopilot.
Volkswagen e-Golf
One of the cheapest electric vehicles for sale today, the e-Golf is almost identical to the standard Golf. The cabin is well-made, there’s plenty of cargo space, and its handling is quick and nimble.
The only real problem with the e-Golf is its low range. This car can only go 125 miles between charges.
Nissan Leaf
The cheapest battery-electric vehicle around, the Nissan Leaf is an innovator. One of the first electric vehicles to hit the mainstream, the Leaf offers a compelling argument for switching.
There are acres of cargo space in the back, and it handles like a dream. There’s not a lot of tech as standard, but it’s comparable to any other budget car.
The range is okay: it can go 150 miles between charges as standard. Upgrade to the Leaf Plus and you can get 226 miles between charges. The best budget electric car for sale today.
Best AWD Electric Vehicles for Sale
Want the environmental-friendliness of an electric vehicle with the all-weather capabilities of an AWD vehicle? Then you need to get your hands on one of these awesome AWD electric vehicles.
Tesla Model X
This SUV from Tesla is one of our favorite electric vehicles for sale right now.
This SUV boasts a stunning range of 325 miles. Its acceleration is blindingly fast, hitting 60 from a standing start in as little as 2.7 seconds. The best part is that all-wheel-drive is standard.
There’s a huge 17-inch touchscreen to control all of the vehicle’s functions, a Wi-Fi hotspot, built-in dashcam, and autopilot.
Audi e-Tron
If the Model X isn’t your thing, consider the Audi e-Tron. Featuring a truly luxuriant cabin, high levels of tech, and Quattro all-wheel-drive as standard, there’s not a lot to complain about on this SUV.
The handling is good, there’s a huge amount of room for both passengers and cargo, and it’s as safe as you can get. The tech is fantastic, featuring a 10.1-inch touchscreen and Audi’s virtual cockpit.
The only real issue on this vehicle, like the e-Golf, is its low range. The Audi will conk out after just 204 miles. This would be acceptable on a budget model, but the e-Tron is far from cheap.
Jaguar I-Pace
Another luxury electric vehicle, the I-Pace is a dream car. As you’d expect from a Jaguar, speed is good: this car can hit 60 in 4.5 seconds. It’s far from a one-trick pony though.
Slip inside the car and you’ll find a prestigious interior. There’s synthetic leather seats, dual-screen infotainment, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Cargo is good, the seats are roomy and comfortable, and the car rides on serene air suspension. Its range is solid at 234 miles between charges.
Best Electric Bikes for Sale
Do you think that two wheels are better than four? Then check out our list of the best electric bikes and find your dream ride!
Zero SR
The most powerful bike put out by Californian manufacturer Zero, the SR is fantastic. The torque is incredible, and the motor produces 70 horsepower. There are ABS brakes and an adjustable suspension, and you can even configure power outputs with a smartphone app.
This bike is simple to ride and a whole lot of fun. Again, the range is the only issue. This bike will only be good for around 90 miles of fairly conservative riding.
Harley-Davidson Livewire
Imagine a Harley-Davidson that can actually corner. That’s what the Livewire is.
The bike is comfortable, well-made, and makes an absolutely ferocious noise while accelerating. You can charge this bike off a standard socket, with a complete charge taking around 7-8 hours. You can also use fast-charging stations, which will charge the battery in an hour.
The range is similar to the Zero SR, giving you around 90 miles from a full battery. It’s an expensive bike, but a lot of fun and great for commuters.
Čezeta Electric Scooter
If you want something completely different, take a look at this reimagining of a Soviet classic.
The scooter has a 15 horsepower electric motor, a top speed of 75 mph, and a 75-mile range. It’s quite a basic bike, with no ABS and handling that’s best left in the city.
It is a fun and adorable little scooter, however. If you want something that will really make you stand out from the crowd, we can’t recommend this electric scooter enough.
